Lil and I are hanging out in some State Farm Lounge DJ room. Kinda sucks. And they have PC’s. What a bore.

Anyway!!!! We’re headed to see Jay-Z tonight. Should be epic! He was doing a sound check last night – 5 songs! Lil was able to see him from the top of the RV last night. So great.

We’re finally settling in – I got to bed at 3am and was up at 6am. We’re in the VIP because we’re you know… someone that knows someone.

The band I’m looking forward to the mostest is The xx. I’ve introduced Lil to them and she claims she likes them – we’ll see. It’s such sexy music. I have no idea what type of people listen to it, I’m kind of looking forward to see what type of crowd it bring is. And of course, I will be seeing Old Crow Medicine Show for the 3rd time!! I saw them twice last year – such an awesome band. I get the feeling that one of their band members/best friend died recently. Their last album was so sad and “dark”. Seemed like they got lost in drugs and what-not. They’re young, somewhat hip guys that make my heart melt. And they have funny names… that totally help their rock star status.
